Gordon Getty’s song cycle – The White Election
NSAS
produced a concert of composer Gordon Getty’s song cycle The White
Election in 2012. Soprano Lisa Delan and pianist Kristin Pankonin
performed this cycle based on the poetry of Emily Dickinson; Emmy,
Grammy and Tony Award-winning actress Cynthia Nixon read selections
from Emily Dickinson’s letters at the The Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse.
